Visibility is vital, especially during low-light conditions. Low-light riding especially on busy roads or riding in remote locations can be dangerous if you aren’t set-up right! You need to incorporate both a strong front and rear light. Having a good set of lights increases your visibility for hundreds of meters while also increasing your vision of the road in front of you.

A front and rear light is essentially the basic setup for lowlight riding, this will keep you out of most dangerous situations when riding in the dark, but most people will put a few more measures in place to take some extra precautions. To better increase visibility riders should also try and use bright and reflective cycling gear, adding reflective strips on your bike and avoid wearing darker colours.
